2008 Doubling Cohort Tracking Survey

Doubling Cohort Tracking Survey. To help gauge the BBC's progress toward reaching our goal of doubling the number of Americans volunteering abroad, a key group of volunteer sending organizations was identified to form a “Doubling Cohort.” In total, the cohort sent approximately 50,000 American volunteers abroad in 2006. These groups will be tracked through an annual survey with the anticipated end result of 100,000 volunteers serving through their programs in 2010.
